‘Olympia’, the lead single and opener from house duo Frank & Tony’s (Francis Harris and Anthony Collins) upcoming album Ethos, rises, vaporous and compelling, from some mythic place, as obscure and majestic as the song’s namesake.

This is largely thanks to the orphic vocals lent by Eliana Glass, whose own solo full-length debut (also produced by Harris) will be released in late 2024. Her third track released in partnership with the pair, ‘Olympia’ is a perfect ceremonial that thrums thanks to Glass’s lyrics, which function as a meditation on the name itself that sits perfectly in her reedy, devotional lower register.

Their moniker Frank & Tony is an homage to creative friendship, the fluid and free anonymity of club culture and the belief that house music continues to bring communities together from its earliest days until the present.
For over a decade, the pair have released a stack of quality house records. Co-founding record label Scissor and Thread in 2011, it became an outpost for a string of EPs before their lauded debut full-length You Go Girl landed in 2014. They disbanded for a short period in 2018 while Francis focussed on multi-use restaurant, bar and music venue Public Records, which has since gained global recognition.


From then, both producers explored their own solo pursuits, with Harris releasing albums Trivial Occupations and Thresholds, as well as his project with Gabe Hedrick, Aris Kindt: Swann and Odette. Collins, meanwhile, went under alias Grant to release LPs Fantasy Blues and Perception.
In 2021, Frank and Tony reformed to start their residency at Public Records. Four critically-acclaimed EPs followed, all dropping on Scissor and Thread in 2022 and 2023. Back on the road in 2024, their community will be thrilled to see them return with a monthly residency at Public Records and their first album in over a decade.
